COCO (A.K.A. ABE)

Coco is now Abe. He is great and seems very happy. He has lots of room to run around and is a snuggler when we sit on the couch. Thank you very much for this dog. He is a great addition to our little family.

BUDDY

Just wanted to tell you how good Buddy was on the way home Saturday. He didn’t make a peep almost the entire way – just a few nervous meows. He spent most of the afternoon and early evening under the dresser, but when I checked on him b/f I went to bed, he was up on the cat tower all snuggled.

Sunday morning he was back under the dresser, but I stuck my hand under there and started rubbing his ear and he came right out and was purring like crazy! Spent a lot of time in the bedroom w/him yesterday, just rubbing his head and his ears and talking to him. When I went to bed last night. He was up on the window perch. My neighbors have a small waterfall in their backyard that he can see and hear and there are lots of birds and squirrels to look at.

Anyway, that was our weekend. I think he’s going to love it in his new home. I’m so glad I have him.

Finn Molly JOrdan

FINNEGAN (FORMERLY PUPPY SOLO)

Everything is going well. His name is Finnegan. He eats like a horse and has doubled his size in 3 weeks LOL. He is sleeping through the night in his crate now and he goes for a run every day with his Daddy, in addition to chasing the other pets around. He is a very sweet boy.

PEPPER (FORMERLY PUPPY PIXIE)

Pixie Puppy is now known as Pepper!
Pepper and I are getting along famously. She is housebroken and very easy to train. Pepper has learned several commands, sit, stay, come, go to bed, where is your toy, leave it, and settle. Because I work from home, training was pretty easy, no crate training. However, on the occasion when I must leave Pepper at home, she does stay in her crate.
Pepper and I are currently down in the Florida Keys. She is an excellent traveler and wonderful company! Here in the Keys, Pepper has had the chance to meet her “brothers”, Boom and Shoby. Also, rescue pets! They all get along, and Pepper has bonded with Boom quite strongly, they are just about inseparable!
Pepper sleeps in a very big bed along with me! We walk more than a few miles every day, as well as playing in the backyard where she loves to run around, and she is very fast! She eats well and we maintain a diet of organic, no-grain kibble, mixed with chicken that I cook for her. She loves bananas, clementine, apples, and lettuce too!
Pepper and I are definitely in love and very best friends…I could not imagine my life without her, and I am not sure what took me so long in bringing another pet into my life. Except that fate must have had me wait for her!

RADLEY (FORMERLY PUPPY SIMONE)

Radley (formerly Puppy Simone) is an adventurous, forever curious new addition to our family. She keeps her big sister Bluebell on her toes, and the two of them are completely inseparable. From boldly approaching new canine friends to digging up the couch cushions, there’s nothing they won’t do without the other tagging along. Radley has adjusted to us wonderfully, has taken to crate training, and has been given a clean bill of health by our family vet.
We are so excited to have her!

MAX

Max is doing wonderfully at home. He has settled right in and is getting along with everyone in the family. We are so happy to have him as part of our family!

Dog Ace 2

ACE

Thank you so much for bringing Ace into our life!  We left the adoption and went straight to Petvalue for a bath.  He then went to visit my mother-in-law at an assisted living, where he was a big hit. They’d like him to come back.  Right now he’s asleep on my husband on the couch.

He’s settled in quite nicely.  We didn’t change his name since he is young, and it didn’t sound like he had a traumatic early life.  He loves everyone and other dogs.  He has quite a few neighborhood dog friends we have to see daily. He loves to play and, unfortunately, dig and chew, so we’re working on breaking those habits and manners.  Our kids are college and high school age so they’ll have him trained by the end of the summer I’m sure!  We’ve had dogs all of their lives so, he’s an easy one for them!
He goes on plenty of walks, hikes at Tarrywile, has been to the beach at Cape Cod, and visits my mother-in-law at a local assisted living.  He’s living the life (and has gained 2 pounds so we’re not spoiling him so much anymore).
We love Ace! Thank you again so much for rescuing him!!❤

Don now Dondo 1030x773 1

DON (DONDO)

Don was a shy little kitten while at the shelter, but he’s blossomed into an affectionate, loving little guy in his new home.  He’s doing great, per his family!  As you can see he has a new furry roommate and follows his 2-legged family members around everywhere!
